Our Story
With over 25 years in the wedding and event industry, owner Eric Pomerantz brings unmatched experience, artistry, and professionalism to every production.
After college Eric worked on several film productions throughout NY and NJ. Upon answering ads for videography jobs he eventually found his passion as a wedding filmmaker. In 2004 he founded Creative Unlimited in NJ. Our company has built its reputation on quality, reliability, amazing end products, and exceptional client experiences. Over the years we’ve captured hundreds of weddings and events for clients, plus their relatives and friends.
In 2025 we relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee and decided to rebrand the wedding and event portion of our business as Smoky Mountain Films to better serve the scenic mountain view events of East Tennessee.
Our approach remains the same, combining traditional documentary coverage with modern narrative styles all while encapsulating the personality and heart of your event. We anticipate moments before they happen, capture all your family and friends with care, and craft films that feel authentic and cinematic. From smaller intimate events to huge lavish affairs, our films and photos help preserve your most precious memories.
